Locations
Cross Country and Base Training Season; the "big hill" west side of University Drive across and south from McMahon stadium. Parking is available at the south end.
Indoor Season Jack Simpson Track
2011 Outdoor Season Rotary Park Track till middle of June and then Foothills to the end of July
Hours
-Cross Country and Base Training, September to the end of October.
Practices are Monday, Wednesday, Friday starting at 5pm to 6:30pm
-Indoor Season, November to the end of March.
Practices are Monday and Wednesday from 6:30pm to 8pm
-Outdoor Season, April to end of July.
Practices are Monday, Wednesday, Friday start between 4:30pm and 5pm going to 6ish pm
Program
Ensuring that athletes are introduced to all aspects of track and field while giving them the basic technique and skills needed to advance.
Weight Training: No lifting of weights but a strong focus on core exercises and resistance training.
Main focus of the training group is not only to ensure that athletes have the foundation and the skills to continue training in the sport, but also ensure that they are having fun while doing it.
