Middle and Long Distance Program
The Spartans Middle and Long Distance Program is for athletes interested in middle and long distance running. Includes the 800 m, 1200m, 1500m, 3000m, 5000m, 10,000m and steeplechase on the track, as well as cross-country, marathon, and the running portion (only) of the triathlon.
Along with building endurance, there is a focus on developing the right balance between speed and endurance necessary to the longer races. A weight training facility to build strength is available three times per week.
