Coaching Philosophy

Athlete development comes before medals. My role is to teach athletes how and why they train, build the physical and mental skills required for lasting performance, and provide an environment where they feel safe, supported and challenged. I emphasize technical mastery, age-appropriate strength, communication, mental well-being and thoughtful progression to reduce injury and burnout. I continually adapt my program to the individual needs of each athlete and believe success includes becoming a confident athlete, a supportive teammate and a good human being.
