Since the early 1970s, the Calgary Spartans Track and Field Club has promoted the development of athletes at all levels.
While the club has produced many Provincial, National, and Olympic team members, it also strives to develop young talent in our sport. (more)

- Congratulations to Michael Quick for making the Western Canada Championships Alberta Team (1200m 3:15.42 - 1st, 800m 2:03.65 - 2nd)
and qualifying for Legions Nationals (800m 2:05.15 - 12th), to Evelyn Anderson for making the Western
Canadian Championship Alberta Team (1500m 4:50.36 - 3rd, 3000m 10:28.45 - 2nd) and to Erin Anderson for making the Alberta Summer Games Team.
